Brian F. Beebe, age 53, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at home following a long illness. Mr. Beebe was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of the Highland Lakes section of Vernon for the past 26 years.


Mr. Beebe worked for the New York Times for 28 years, retiring as the Assistant Fleet Safety Manager. He also drove a truck and trained the truck drivers. He served with the US Navy from 1976 to 1980 and was stationed on the USS Shreveport — LPD 12. Mr. Beebe was an avid New York Jets, Knicks and Mets fan.


He was predeceased by his parents, Frank A. and Paulette F. (Provenzale) Beebe and his mother-in-law, Betty Imogene

VERNON - Brian F. Beebe, 53, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at home following a long illness. Mr. Beebe was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had been a resident of the Highland Lakes section of Vernon for the past 26 years.


Mr. Beebe worked for the New York Times for 28 years, retiring as the assistant fleet safety manager. He also drove truck and trained the truck drivers. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1980 and was stationed on the USS Shreveport - LPD 12. Mr. Beebe was an avid New York Jets, Knicks and Mets fan.


He was predeceased by his parents, Frank A. and Paulette F. (Provenzale) Beebe, and his mother-in-law, Betty Imogene Roberts.


Mr. Beebe is survived by his wife, Teena (Roberts) Beebe; children, Renee Beebe of Nutley, Brett Beebe and his wife, Jade, and their daughter, Breea, of Camp Pendleton, San Diego, Calif., and Sean Beebe of Highland Lakes; brother, Kevin Beebe and his wife, Barbara, of Huntsville, Ala.; sisters, Paulette Noll and her husband, Gary, of Flowermound, Texas, Joanne McGuire and her husband, Michael, of Weddington, N.C., and Allison Schroeder, of Middle Island, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, James Hester of Zanesville, Ohio, and Clarence "Skip" Roberts of Lima, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Terry McHenry, of Copperas Cove, Texas.


Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 30, at 9 a.m., from Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, to Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Highland Lakes, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m.
