Judi L. (McIlrath) Badgley, 65, Anderson, passed on peacefully, at home, with family with her, on Jan. 27, 2012.
She was born Dec. 9, 1946, in Anderson, where she lived her entire life.
A graduate of Anderson High School, Judi worked at Saint John's Hospital, in Environmental Services, for 28 years. Judi always made sure everyone was taken care of, especially her children. She worked very hard all of her life. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed. She loved being with her family, flowers and gardening. She spent many weekends at Brookville Lake.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Harvey of Anderson; sisters, Jennifer (Jack) Martin of Wabash and LeAnn (Tom) Kellams of Middletown; brother, Butch (Brenda) McIlrath of Lake Placid, Fla.; four grandchildren, Brittany, Bethaney, Carly and Tori; five great-grandchildren; nine great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved very much; her cats, Abby and Pokey; two stepchildren; and her best friend and partner in crime, Bruce Fisher. She loved everyone very much.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evelyn (Collings) McIlrath; son, Stacy Harvey; sister, Vicki Winemiller; husband, Bill Badgley; nephew, Danny Ebbert and Daisy Mae.
Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
