The "1855" birth year shown on his grave marker is incorrect. He was actually born in 1865. If he was named after Abraham Lincoln, the "1855" birth year would be incorrect since Abraham Lincoln was not a national figure in 1855.
Lincoln was a son of Vincent Applegate (1831?-1888) & Harriet Jacobs (1834-????).
Lincoln married Martha Ellen McIntire (1867-1900) on June 25, 1899 in Meade County, Kentucky. They had three identified children. (This is incorrect. Those three children were all born before Link and Mollie married.)
Lincoln then married an Eva M. ______ between the 1920 and 1930 U.S. Census. She apparently died before 1927 since Lincoln was reported as a widower on his 1927 death certificate. Details on Eva and this marriage have not been determined.
