Esther Mooney was the daughter of William F & Elizabeth Mooney and was married to George Bosler on Apr 4, 1841. (She is buried by him). Esther then married Henry Bosler on Nov 4, 1847 and had at least 5 children - Isaac, Sylvia, Nancy, Harriet, William H - with Henry. The 1860 Eel River Twp, Allen Co, Indiana Census shows Henry, age 50, and Esther, age 35, with these 5 children plus the 2 living children from her previous marriage. On July 24, 1866 in Allen Co, Indiana, Esther Bosler married Joseph Hardman. Joseph was a minister in the Church of the Brethren church in Middlebury, Elkhart Co, Indiana. Esther and Joseph had a child, Francis Marion 'Frank' Hardman on June 22, 1867 in Elkhart Co, Indiana. Esther died Nov 24, 1868 in Elkhart Co, Indiana. From the 'Gospel Visitor', Feb 1869 issue, written by John Arnold: 'Died in Solomon's Creek congregation, Elkhart County, Ind. Nov 24th, 1868 Sister Esther Hardman, wife of Bro. Joseph Hardman, age 44 years and 3 months. Her remains were removed to Cedar Creek congregation, DeKalb County, Indiana where she previously resided and had two former husbands buried. Funeral preached in the latter congregation by Elder Jacob Gump and Daniel Shively from John 1:25-31.'
