Rev. Dr. H.H. Fischer, 76, died Friday, March 1, 2002 at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.

Born in Elma, N.Y. to Harrison C. and Helen L. Fischer, Rev. Dr. Fischer resided in Wadsworth for 10 years, previously residing in Medina.

He has served churches in the following eight cities in his 55 years of ministry: Warsaw, Frewsburg, and Clarence Center in New York, Barberton, Wooster, Medina, Brunswick, and currently at West Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Warren Rotary and several ministerial associations.

Rev. Dr. Fischer is survived by wife, Anne Marie (married October 17, 1987); daughter, Jana Beth Fischer of Norton; step-son, Ryan Fairbanks of Dover A.F.B, Dover, Del.; sisters, Betty Jane Bush of Orchard Park, N.Y., Beverly (Howard) Windsor of East Aurora, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
