Mrs. Ann Sophronia Stockett, of Pleasant Walk, near Myersville, died at the home of her nephew, Carl Ahalt, 39 West Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Sunday evening at 6:25 o'clock after three months' illness of complications.

Aged 82, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Malinda Morrison Dusing and was born at Pleasant Walk. However, she had resided in New York City the greater part of her life.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sadie Rowe, of New York city; two brothers, Jesse, Hagerstown, and Melvin Dusing, Pleasant Walk, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The body was removed to the funeral home in Boonsboro, where short funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. Frank L. Stine with further services at the United Brethren church at Pleasant Walk, conducted by the deceased's pastor, Rev. S. G. Sheriff. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church. William F. Bast and Son, funeral directors.
