Delbert Turner Dies Unexpectedly At Paris Home
PARIS — Delbert Turner, 56, died unexpectedly at his home, southwest of Paris, at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning. He had been ill several weeks.
A native of Monroe County, he was born April 20, 1911, a son of Frank and Theodocia Ensor Turner of Paris. Mr. Turner was a prominent farmer. He was a member of the Paris Christian Church.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, the former Helen Stith; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell Baldwin, Holliday, and Mrs. Don Mosby, Columbia; three sons, Paul, Mexico; Larry, Springfield, and Glenn of the home; three grandchildren; one brother, Harvey, south of Paris; and one sister, Mrs. Enos Wood, Madison.
The body is at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Paris Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Mattson in charge. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.
