The Oklahoman, 29 May 1975: Services for Ocie May Fletcher, 78, of 515 NW 42, will be at noon Friday at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs Fletcher died Tuesday at a local nursing home.

Born in Ardmore, Mrs Fletcher was a retired sales clerk at J.C. Penny Co. She worked with the store in Ardmore until 1912 when she transferred to Oklahoma City. She retired from the OKC store about 1962 after over 35 years with the company. Mrs Fletcher was a member of Crown Heights Christian Church.

Surviving are a son, N.W. of Wichita; two daughters, Mrs Judy C. Neas, of the home; and Mrs Helen Laughlin Blount, of OKC; two brothers, F. L. Adair, Lubbock, TX; and Jack Adair, Durant; a sister, Mrs Alice Warry, Lubbock; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
