Kenneth W. Rutledge Jr.; Vancouver
A longtime Vancouver resident, Kenneth Welch Rutledge Jr., died Thursday, March 4, 2004, in Portland. He was 61.
Mr. Rutledge, a 1962 Fort Vancouver High School graduate, retired from working as a custodian and in maintenance for the Vancouver School District. He also worked for Alcoa.
He was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., and lived in Clark County for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Tracey Humphrey of Vancouver; two sons, Rick and Ryan, both of Vancouver; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Rutledge enjoyed animals and fishing, hunting and camping.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
