Born the seventh of twelve children to William Marwood and Elizabeth Robb Purrington

OGDEN – Frank Ammon Purrington, 49, died Sunday evening at his home, 2346 [or 2348] Eccles Avenue, following a week's illness.

He was born in West Weber, November 7, 1887, son of William and Elizabeth Robb Purrington. He married Laura Bell McFarland, March 25, 1906, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the quorum of the seventy, the choir and the Genealogical Society of the Ogden Thirteenth Ward. In 1909 he filled a mission to England for the Church.

He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Lawrence Donneville, Dean M., Barbara Jean, Franklin Marwood, and Max LaMonte Purrington, and a grandchild, all of Ogden. The following brothers also survive: George and Charles Purrington of Salt Lake City and William, Stanley and Lee Purrington of Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Ogden Thirteenth Ward by Bishop Edward H. Chambers. Burial will be in the Ogden City cemetery.

Friends may call at the family home Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until time of services.
