TURNER, John A. Age 77 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 13, 1929 in Jackson, Kentucky to Berry and Sylvania (Noble) Turner. John worked as a die press setter at Inland Container for 22 years retiring in 1973. John was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Lonnie Turner and John Turner; sisters, Zula Faye McIntosh and Effie Bernard. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Todd) Cantrell of Middletown; four grandchildren, Leslie Schaurer, Laurie Haines, Mitchell Turner and Vanessa Turner; five great grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Sally) Turner of Jackson, Kentucky and Gene Turner and wife Marie of Newport, Kentucky; sister, Dorothy Turner and husband Herbert of Jackson, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. With a celebration of life service Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Hidlebaugh. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
