As a small child, they moved to Ashland. When she married, she moved back to Superior. Later she moved to Duluth, then to their lake home at Moose Lake, moving back to Superior in 1985. She was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Superior and Zion Lutheran Church, Duluth. She was a very accomplished knitter and her family and many friends enjoyed her wonderful cooking and baking. Olive had lived independently in her own home until entering the hospital in March.
Olive was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her first husband George Donahue in 1951, and her second husband Swen (Augie) Swenson in 1988.
Olive is survived by her daughters: Doris (Harvey) Erickson, and Barbara Fickel; sister, Marcine Barr; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Inurnment at Oneota Cemetery.
