Joyce Kay O'Neal age 80 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Sunday November 6, 2011 at Golden Living Center Brandywine, Greenfield.
She was born October 9, 1931 in Eden, Indiana to the late Mearl and Ruthe (Kessler) O'Neal.
She was a graduate of Eden High School. She served 41 years as a civilian employee of the Finance School at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, earning numerous meritorious service awards. She was appointed as an honorary Sgt. Major of the Finance School. She was an avid sports fan and followed the Pacers and the Fever for many years.
She is survived by brothers, Mike (Lyn) O'Neal of Greenfield, S. Thomas (Suzanne) O'Neal of Anderson, niece, Nadena Pardue, nephews, Timothy O'Neal, Stephen O'Neal, Rick O'Neal, David O'Neal, Joseph O'Neal, Gary O'Neal, Todd O'Neal and Brad O'Neal.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday November 11, 2011 at Eden United Methodist Church, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
