Alice Brown Graham McInnis was a daughter of Benjamin Franklin Graham and Mary Louise Wilson Graham of Wessington, SD. She was married to John McInnis.

WESSINGTON, SD - Graveside rite was held Sept. 5, 1973 at Rose Hill Cemetery for Mrs. John (Alice) McInnis, 93 who died Sept. 2 at Prairie Center Rest Home, Miller, where she had been a resident more than one year. The Rev. David Belzer officiated.

Alice Graham was born May 13, 1880, at Morning Sun, Iowa, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Benjamin Graham. At the age of six she came to Hand County with her parents and was a resident of Rose Hill Township until she entered the nursing home. While attending school in Huron she joined the First Congregational Church. She was a member of the Rose Hill Ladies Aid, Rose Hill Pioneer Club, a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star and Royal Neighbors Lodge of Wessington.

Survivors are one son, John, Miller; three daughters, Mae Robertson, Troutdale, Ore., Janet, Miller, and Mrs. Elton (Mary Rae) Anson, Wessington; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1931, one son and one daughter.
