Funeral services for William McKinley Cook of Selma, a native of Aiken Co, SC, were held here Thursday afternoon. Burial took place in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Ala.
Mr. Cook died Wednesday morning at a local hospital. He came to Alabama from South Carolina about 35 years ago with his father who was of a pioneer Carolina manufacturing family. Mr. Cook was a Mason and a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ivy McGough Cook, and two daughters, MIss Mildred Cook and Mrs. Helen Cook Dailey, all of Selma; his step-mother, Mrs. W.R. Cook of Montgomery, Alabama, and a number of other relatives in South Carolina, California, Illinois, Iowa, and Alabama.
