Shirley Nell Rutledge, 54, Salina, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006.
Mrs. Rutledge was born Shirley Nell Stephenson on Sept. 6, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a phlebotomist.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Goyette, in 1972; her father, Jack Stephenson; and her mother, Nellie (Neal) Stephenson.
Survivors included her husband, James "Jim" Rutledge, of the home; three sons, Tony Goyette of New Orleans, Gary Goyette of Maryland and Matthew Rutledge of Topeka; three daughters, Melissa Goyette of Wichita and Kimberly Johnson and Stephanie Page, both of Topeka; a chosen sister, Kandy Evans; a chosen brother, Bill Ringer; a sister in-law , Joanne Blakney of Bethany, Okla; and 10 grandchildren, Cassandra Johnson, Trent Johnson, Derrick Page, Amanda Page, Jesse Page, Madison Rutledge, Mason Rutledge, Jonathan Goyette, Paige Anderson and Britanny Killough.
The funeral will be at 11a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina 67401, the Rev. Roy Rawls officiating. Inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
