Allen A. Langenkamp, age 74, of 242 S. Sycamore St., St. Henry, Ohio, died at 2:55 AM on Monday, February 06, 2012 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. He was born November 11, 1937 in St. Henry, Ohio to the late Clarence & Anna (Kemper) Langenkamp. On June 27, 1959 he married Mary Agnes (Moeder) in St. Henry and she survives in St. Henry. He is also survived by five children, Lori & Ken Wieck of St. Henry, Brenda Post of New Bremen, David & Kim Langenkamp of Coldwater, Lisa & Tom LeFevre of Ft. Recovery and Buffy & Bruce Froning of St. Henry, 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a brother, Clarence Langenkamp of Ft. Recovery. He is preceded in death by a brother and spouse, Robert & Carol Langenkamp, two sisters and spouses, Mary Ann & Walter Minch and Dolores & Leo Hatert, a sister-in-law, Janet Langenkamp and one grandchild. He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, was a past volunteer fireman for the St. Henry Fire Department and a member of the Coldwater Eagles. He was retired from the former New Idea plant in Coldwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 09, 2012 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, Ohio, with Fr. Benedict Magabe, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery, St. Henry, Ohio. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-St. Henry on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
