In 1947, he married his beloved Lori. In 1958, with his degree in Industrial Engineering, he relocated his family to San Diego, Calif. and worked for Rohr Industries until 1980. From 1980 until his retirement in 1991, Steve worked as General Manger for The Boeing Company. Steve was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a volunteer Radio Officer RACES in San Diego for the Civil Defense and Disaster Organization. He was a member of The American Radio Relay League with call signs WB6KSA in California and K7SD in Oregon.
Steve is survived by four children, Richard, Janice, Kenneth and David; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Lori and son, Michael.
Funeral will be held 10 a.m. on Feb. 7, 2012 at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 1510 Greenfield Drive, El Cajon, Calif. Burial will be at El Cajon Cemetery in El Cajon, Calif.
