"Elsie Lee McKissack, 87, of Prescott dies Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at Nashville Nursing Ceneter in Nashville. She was born July 27, 1909, in Mt. Ida, to Henry K. and Jenice E. Plyler Walters. She was a retired employee of Redland Farms and a homemaker. She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church near Prescott. Survivors include two daughters, Sue Rogers of San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara Powell of New Hope; two sisters, Mary Jane Miller of Prescott and Pauline Pearson of Prescott; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Walters of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, July 18, at Midway United Methodist Church in Prescott with Rev. Dale McKinney officiating.
