MRS. MARY AGNES KNOTT PRIEST, 81 years old, a resident of Irvington, Kentucky, died Friday, December 10, 1982 at Medco Center in Brandenburg, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Willie Lee Hardesty (William Martin) and the late Rena Ray Hardesty. Survivors 4 daughters, Mrs. Florine Springs, Luling, Texas, Mrs. Ruth Fackler of Guston, Kentucky, Mrs. Edna Laurie of Youngstown, New York, and Mrs. Shirley Benham of Brandenburg; 5 sons, Fred, Robert, and Jerry all of Brandenburg, and Pat of Irvington, Kentucky, and Kenneth of Knightstown, Indiana; 4 sisters, Mrs. Nevada Yates of Lansing, Illinois, Martha Carter of Bloomington, Illinois, and Patricia Hardesty of Bloomington, Illinois, and Florence Taylor of Leroy, Illinois; 3 brothers, Ray Hardesty of Bloomington, Illinois, Hillary Hardesty of Brandenburg, Kentucky, and Joseph Hardesty of Paynesville, Kentucky; 41 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a. m. EST Monday, December 13, 1982 at the Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with Father William Donohue officiating. Interment was in the Mount Marino Cemetery, with Alexander Funeral Home in charge.
