He was born October 31, 1921 in Moravia to Frank and Frances Bitala Tupa. He married Sybil Fajkus on June 24, 1946 in Praha. He was a bulk manager for Southland Corp. for 33 years. Tupa was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion Post 179 and Catholic Life Insurance. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil Tupa of New Braunfels; daughters, Dorothy TupaSeidel and Charlene Tupa Scott, both of New Braunfels; sisters, Annie Tupa Tomlin of Montgomery and Carrie Tupa Okruhlik of Schulenburg; brothers, Frank Tupa of Hallettsville and Joe Tupa of Ganado; and five grandchildren.
