Marjorie Joan Bingham Carmichael, 76, of Sheffield, passed away Feb. 5, 2012. Graveside services to begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating is James McCaney.
She was preceded in death by her son, Alton Guy Higginbotham, and husband, Henry Carmichael.
Survivors include daughter, Carole Higginbotham Newton; grandsons, Christopher Eugene Newton and David Craig Newton; great-granddaughters, Sara Grace Newton, Adalyn Chris Newton and Leigha Maxine Newton; and stepgranddaughter, Sandi Edwards.
Pallbearers are Keith Davenport, Kenneth Johnson, Doug Garrison, Clint Cardin, Jeff Stewart and Tommy Flurry.
She attended Victory Christian Church.
