Robert L. Capper, 80, retired auto service manager, died Wednesday at Ball Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Muncie, attended Central High School, and spent most of his life in this community.
Mr. Capper was an instructor at Muncie Trade School before retirement and earlier was employed at Fisher Motors Inc. and Frank Hanley Inc. He was one of Jehovah's Witness and was a member of Muncie Lodge 46 F&AM, and Mizpah Shrine Temple.
Surviving is his sister, Myrna Jean (Harold) Bush, Muncie.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Meeks Mortuary. Interment will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary an hour before services.
