TUNNEL HILL, Ill.--Services for Edna Marie Hughes, 75, of Tunnel Hill will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Elder Wendell Yeary will officiate, and burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pope County.
Mrs. Hughes died at 12:25 p.m. Sunday at Massac Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker and a former key punch operator for Sears in Chicago. She was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God in Vienna.
Surviving are one daughter, Vickie Barger of Tunnel Hill; five sisters, Evelyn Ross of Tunnel Hill, Demarris Payne of Vienna, Joan Boner of Matteson, Mary Hale of Augusta, Ga., and Nancy Tite of Ozark; one brother, George Goddard of Karnak; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett S. Hughes; one brother; and one grandson. Her parents were Guy Goddard and Nellie Vaughn Goddard.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
