Mr. Aringdale was born in York, Nebraska and retired from the United States Navy as a Lt. Commander after 30 years of Service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was an active volunteer for St. Jude's Hospital in Philadelphia and also the humane society.
Mr. Aringdale is survived by his wife, Frances; four children: Christi Horsley and her husband Robert of Mercer, PA; Michael Aringdale and his wife Donna of Jacksonville, FL., Theresa Vetri and her husband, Anthony of Marlton and Patricia Harrington and her husband John of Marlton. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Christopher, Libby, Ian, Ryan, Amanda, Jennifer, Kristin, Emily, Hannah and Sara and 9 great grandchildren and three,siblings Aletha Ann Turnipseed, Gary Aringdale and Richard Aringdale.
Burial Office and Eucharist will be celebrated Friday at 11:30AM at St Andrew's Episcopal Church 121 High Street, Mount Holly. Interment will be private.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9PM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly.
