FREDERICA, Del. - Brandon Scott Freed was born June 7, 1988, in Danville, to John and the late Melissa (Napikoski) Freed.

Originally from Reedsville and most recently from Frederica, Del., Brandon was also known as "Lucky," "Leprechaun," and "Lil foot."

Brandon was a 2007 graduate of Lake Forest High School in Felton, Del. He worked for a short time at the Goodwill, Walmart and Dollar General. Brandon's desire was to attend Polytech Adult Education for HVAC certification.

Brandon's favorite pastime was spending time with his friends, defeating enemies on "Call of Duty." If Brandon could have a last shout out to his buddies, he would say, "Get out the grill!" Why? "Cuz we're going ham and cheez!"

He was a warm-hearted individual. He was a people person who loved kids and was friends with everyone.

Brandon leaves behind: his father, John Freed, of Frederica; his younger sister and best friend, Alisha Freed, of Frederica; special friend and fiancee, Jessica Bloodsworth, of Harrington, Del.; paternal grandparents, Norman and Mabel Freed, of Reedsville; maternal grandparents, Ron and Kathleen Napikoski, of Reedsville; four aunts, Teresa (Harry) Kohler, of McVeytown, Darla Dyer, of Reedsville, Karen (Ronald) Napikoski, of Lewistown, and Wendy (Joseph) Napikoski, of Denver, Colo.; two special friends, Ishmael StanShay Rickards and Fred Warner; several cousins, one of which is special with the same birth date; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at the Reedsville United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., with Pastor Mike Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Kathleen Napikoski, 707 Honey Creek Road, Reedsville, PA 17084.
