Rev. Paul D. White
Winchester-The Rev. Paul D. White, 92, Winchester, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at a Winchester hospital.
The Rev. White was a retired Reformed Presbyterian minister. He first served as a missionary to the Comanche and Apache Indians at Cash Creek Mission at Apache, Okla. He later was pastor of Reformed Presbyterian churches at Eskridge, Bloomington, Ind., Denver, and Quinter. While at Denver, the Rev. White was chaplain for Olinger Mortuaries. He was an Army Infantry veteran of World War I.
He was born May 23, 1892, at Winchester, the son of David A. and Agnes Keers White. He was graduated from Winchester schools, Geneva College, Beaver Falls, Pa., and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was married to Margaret Tomasson Dec. 31, 1923, at Beaver Falls, Pa. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosalie Smallwood, Aliquippa, Pa.; two sons, Wendell T. White, Denver, and Lyman F. White, New Windsor, N.Y.; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Winchester. Burial will be in the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Winchester. The Rev. White will lie in state an hour before service time at the church. Relatives and friends will meet from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. Friday at O'Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville.
