Mr. Homer Harlan (Smitty) Smythers age 93 of, Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Lynn Smythers passed away Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born April 15, 1914 in Carroll County, VA to the late Elbert Early and Amanda Smythers He was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist Faith. He was the father of Clyde Harlan Smythers, Sr.
Graveside services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Skyline Memory Gardens conducted by Rev. Doug Cockerham. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Service is assisting the Smythers family.
