CLEMMONS - Margaret Keener Cox, 88, of Clemmons Village I died Wednesday morning, Dec. 15, 2004, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Cox was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Maiden, a daughter of the late Artus Alexander Keener and the late Lottie Klutz Keener. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery Mill and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Cox; and a daughter, Carol Jean Atwood. Mrs. Cox is survived by her stepdaughters, Mary Shirley and husband Tom of Winston-Salem and Shirley Stoddard and husband Bob of Fort McCoy, Fla. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Forsyth Memorial Park, with the Rev. Curtis Whaley officiating. Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
