Louis G. Brenner passed away Saturday, October 27, 2001, at the Maple Valley Nursing Home in Maple City, Mich. Age 88 years. Louis G. Brenner was born April 22, 1913 in Saginaw, the son of the late George and Barbara (Dregritz) Brenner. He married Helen Letz January 19, 1940 in Saginaw. She predeceased him February 6, 2001. He worked briefly for Columbial Mills (later known as the Graber Co.). Louis then retired from Sam's Tavern in Saginaw in 1978. He was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Judith Ann Bugai, Cedar, Mich; Kathleen L. Williams, Fenton, Mich.; five grandchildtten and their spouses, Peter L. and Danna Bugai, Traverse City; Lynn, M and Kenneth Garvin and Brenda S. Bugai, all of Cedar; Kelly Williams-Borst, Chicago, Illinois; Scott I. Williams, Auburn Hills, Mich.; three great-grandchildren, Kerri A. Garvin, Kenneth A. Garvin and Brandon A. Bugai; his brother, Walter Brenner; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Zilda Bauer, Edna Williams and Meta Karem ...burial in Holy Cross Cemetery...
