As Alfrieda Toler, she came to Kerrville about 40 years ago with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Toler. She and Mr. Albe were married here and have lived at 418 McFarland Street since that time. She went to work for the late Dr. W L Secor, who operated the Secor Hospital, as a young girl and took a nurse's training course with him. She remained with the hospital until the Peterson Hospital was begun and had been there until February of this year when she retired due to ill health.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Coralie Croom, San Antonio; Mrs. Rose Marie Neal and Mrs. Louis Dunay, both of California; a sister, Mrs. Owen Baldwin, Kerrville, three brothers, Cedric and Fred Toler of Kerrville and Warren Toler of Ohio, and seven grandchildren.
