FLORENCE - Tom Frank Adams, 67, of the Marion Highway, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday shortly after arriving at a local hospital. He was caretaker for the Eastern Carolina Fairgrounds at Florence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Stoudenmire Chapel officiated by the Rev. Robert M. Hart. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery in Mullins.
Mr. Adams was born February 8, 1898 in Stokes County, N.C., a son of the late Thomas Green and Victoria E. Richardson Adams. He had lived in Florence for about 31 years.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Sue Carter Adams of Florence; an adopted sister, Mrs. J. A. Tucker of Mullins; and one nephew, James L. Tucker of Rock Hill.
