Albaugh--Abel--married October 21, 1885, by Elder G. W. Shane, Mr. Robert N. Albaugh and Miss Belle Able.

In the 1900 census Robert was living in Loudon Township, Carroll County, Ohio. He was age 39 born September 1860 in Ohio, his wife Mary B. age 31 born August 1868 in Ohio, daughter Effa I. age 13 born November 1886. Also living with then was a Oscar M. Eply age 10 born May 1890 in Ohio.

In the 1910 census Robert was still living in Carroll County, Ohio. He was age 47 born in Ohio, his wife Belle age 41 born in Ohio, daughter Effa age 26, and her husband William Brandt age 25 born in Ohio, and there children; Mercedes Brandt age 2 and William Yale Brandt age 1, all born in Ohio.

Funeral services for Robert Albaugh, 74, life long resident of Loudon Township, who died at his home three miles east of Kilgore Tuesday, will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Graham Funeral Home, Amsterdam. Burial will be in the Kilgore Cemetery. He had been ill for the past six weeks. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Effa Brandt; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Kirby.

Robert N. Albaugh, 76, of near Kilgore, died at his home Tuesday, March 17. his wife, Belle (Able) Albaugh, preceded him in death 14 years ago. A daughter, Mrs. Effa Brandt, survives, with four grandchildren, Yale Brandt of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Eva, Eileen and Robert of the home, and two great-grandchildren. Surviving also is a sister, Mrs. Caroline Kirby of Lamartine. Mrs. Harry E. Gould of Carrollton is a niece. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Graham Funeral home at Amsterdam, in charge of Rev. R. J. Smith. Interment will be made in Kilgore Cemetery.
