MILES E. DARBY, 48, of 204 Cleveland Avenue, Endicott, died at 1:58 a. m. today at Wilson Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma M. Darby of Endicott; a daughter, Mrs Stanley (Joyce) Gutshall of Carlisle, Pa.; a son, Richard E. Darby; two grandchildren, Richard Darby, Jr., and Colleen Darby, all of Endicott; a sister, Mrs. Edward Smith of Endwell; a brother, Daniel H. Darby of Endicott; a niece, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ Disciples, Endicott, an Endicott Johnson Corp. employee for the past 32 years, having worked in the Fair Play Factory, West Endicott, and a member of its 30-Year Club.
The body was moved to the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, where the family will receive friends tomorrow from 7 to 9 p. m.
