Services for Harry F. Hoppas, 65, 2390 East Banta Road, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. He died Thursday in a Tampa (Fla.), hospital. A resident of Indianapolis for 40 years, he was an adjuster for the Continental Insurance Company until his retirement in 1967. He was a past president of St. John United Church of Christ and was a member of the brotherhood of the church. Brazil Masonic Lodge No. 541, Scottish Rite, Blue Goose Association and Indiana Adjusters Association. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Viola Hoppas.

My Great-Uncle Harry and Great-Aunt Viola had no children of their own but all the nieces, nephews and all of their children felt as if they were our "other" parents. They were great parents to us all.

I'll never forget you Uncle Harry. You gave me my first new bicycle, untangled my fishing line many times and spoke to me of life. You were a good man. We all want to be remembered as such. Rest in peace.
