CAMP, APRIL MARIE, 18, of Tavares, Florida, passed away Saturday June 5, 2004. Born in Kennesaw, GA, April moved to Lake County in 1988 from Georgia. She was a child care provider; a member of the Youth Group at New Covenant Community Church, Tavares; played softball; and was in the band. Survivors include her parents, Kristine and Paul Gallant of Tavares; father, Terry Camp of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Krista Gallant of State College, PA, and Courtney Gallant of Tavares, FL; maternal grandparents, David and Pat Brooks of Fruitland Park, FL, and Robert and Pat Rogers of Eustis, FL, great-grandmother, Evelyn Donaldson of Stockbridge, GA; paternal grandparents, Alice Camp of Douglasville, GA and Max Camp of GA; great-grandmother, Blanche Hayes of Powder Springs, GA; grandmother, Mary Gallant of Rutherfordton, NC. Funeral Services for Miss Camp will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, 10AM at the First United Methodist Church, Tavares.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the April Camp Scholarship Fund. Contributions can be mailed to the Eustis Elks Lodge, PO Box 1660, Eustis, FL 32727-1660.
