Belva C. Allen, age 88, passed June 25, 1999, at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point, WI. Services at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rev. Gerald Fischer officiated. Burial in the parish cemetery. Boston Funeral Home. Mrs. Allen was born Dec. 26, 1910, in Scandinavia, daughter of the late Peter and Minnie Forseth. She graduated from Waupaca High School and the Milwaukee School of Beauty Culture. Married Nicholas Allen on June 27, 1934, in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1955. She worked as a beautician, starting her own shop known as "Belva's" in 1952. Her business continued in Stevens Point for more than 46 years. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Annes Rosary Society. Survivors include two sons, Donald (Karen) Allen, Amherst, and Thomas (Diane) Allen, Stevens Point; two sisters Agnes Everts and Mildred Forseth, both of Waupaca; and four grandchildren.
