FOXWORTH - Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Jesus Name Apostolic Church for Effie A. Broom, 66, of Foxworth, who died April 13, 2005, at Columbia Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Broom was an inspector for Rutter Rex Manufacturing Co. and a member of Pleasant Hill Jesus Name Apostolic Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Broom.
Survivors include her husband, Roland Marcus Broom of Foxworth; two daughters, Elaine Roberts of Charlotte, N.C., and Linda Broom of Foxworth; three sons, Chris Broom of Foxworth, Sam Broom and Jeremy Broom, both of Charlotte; a brother, Elijah Adams; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the church.
Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
