Mr. Morris died Thursday.
He was a native of Texas and had lived in Porterville for 38 years. He was a construction worker.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas of Clovis, Albert and Robert, both of Tulare, a daughter, Helen Zenz of Porterville, four brothers, Perry of Clovis, Edgar of Jackson, Clarence of Citrus Heights, and Henry of Clear Lake, four sisters, Idella Fargo, Esther Mallery, Susie McGahey, and Lydia Wilson, all of Hemet; 14 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
The family requests that any remembrance be sent to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
