Maude Edith Patrick, 82, of Borderland, W.Va., died Wednesday, March 28, 1990 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Jan. 17, 1908, at Thacker, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Hunt) Hensley. She was preceded in death by a son, Junior Patrick.

She was a member of the Borderland Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors: husband, Ben Patrick; sons, Jimmy Patrick, Carpentersville, Ill., Fred Patrick, Antioch, Ill.; daughters, Mrs. Lillian Jarrell, Bim, W.Va., Mrs. Jean Huff, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Opal Varney, Columbia, S.C., Mrs. Marcella Abbott, Corpus Christi, Fla., Mrs. Hazel Nichols, Winchester, Ky., and Miss Rhonda Patrick, Huntington, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 1990, Weaver Mortuary in Williamson, W.Va., the Rev. Andy Korhari officiating. Burial in Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, W.Va.

Visitation: Weaver Mortuary, 6-9 p.m., Friday.

Pallbearers: Grover Gillman, James Montgomery, Jimmy Bentley, David Jarrell, Darryl James, and Lacy Muncy.
