The body of Howard Blazer, 42, of 1515 N. Central Ave., who was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Rita's Hospital at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, has been removed to the Richards Mortuary, Springfield. Services will be there Wednesday at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in that city.
Mr. Blazer, a native of Springfield, became ill Sunday in his home and died en route to the hospital. Dr. Richard J. Biery, Allen County Coroner said death was due to a heart attack.
Employed as a machinist by Neon Products, Inc., Mr. Blazer was born in Springfield May 15, 1913. He had lived in Lima most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Edward J. Veasey Post No. 1275, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Military Order of Cooties, the Order of Orioles and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, Grover Carl, Ronald Wayne, Gerald Gene, all of Cridersville; four brothers, Earl R., Harry R., Lawrence I. and Arnold E., and a sister, Miss Kathleen Blazer, all of Springfield.
