Mr. Walter S. Wade, 511 Redman Ave., died at the Metzmeier Nursing Home where he had been a patient for the past 8 months, Friday, Nov. 15, at 3:30 a.m.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2:30 p.m., in the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. J. L. Robinson with burial in Brookside Cemetery.

Mr. Wade, 77, was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He lived in Taylor County since 1927 and taught school for 40 years, retiring from the Taylor County system in 1960. He owned and operated a farm in the Mannsville Community for several years.

He was the son of Eliza Passmore and Cyrenus Wade and was born May 4, 1891. He was married to Miss Ida Butcher, who survives. They were married 54 years last Jan. 28th.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Alice) Martin and Mrs. Joe (Bonnie) Waggener, both of Campbellsville, Mrs. James (Wilma) Wilkinson, Columbia, and son, Wilbur Wade, Bremmerton, Washington. Also seven grandchildren; three brothers, Seth and Wheeler Wade of Russell Springs, and Decatur Wade, Alma, Ga.; two sisters, Miss Ora Wade, and Mrs. Clara Richardson both of Russell Springs.

Pallbearers were his Sunday School class and members of the Campbellsville Baptist Church: W. B. Owen, Robinson Rice, Harry Richardson, John W. McCubbin, Richard Kerr, Fritz Potts, Harold Walker, L. M. Mitchell, Dr. Roy G. Wilson, W. B. Atkinson, Dr. Paul Shirley, W. T.
