Mrs. Rodgers was born on February 11, 1936, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Shady Roscoe Floyd and Lizzie Flowers Floyd. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church for 68 years and served as a director in many capacities, especially with the youth. Diane was the owner of Diane's Beauty Shop for over 30 years. Diane owned Nell's Florist & Gifts and was the activity director for The Carolinian of Florence. She was a Godly woman, and friend to many; enjoyed family reunions, gardening, cooking and entertaining for family and friends. She will be remembered as a true Southern Belle.
Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Floyd; sisters, Mildred McKenzie and Betty Eskridge.
