Linville Thomas Blew, 78, of Marceline, died Sunday at Pershing Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1:00 pm., Wednesday at the Tillotson Funeral Chapel; conducted by the Reverend James Farris. Burial will be at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Marceline, Mo.

Linville born November 22, 1903 in Bucklin, Mo., and was one of eight sons of Thomas Alfred and Rachel Evely Dorrell Blew. He met Eulah Belle Still and on the 25th of November, 1927 and married her in Marceline, Missouri by Philip Slade Slaughter, Justice of the Peace and grandfather of the bride.

Surviving are his wife Eulah of Marceline, Mo., a son Orville Lee of Cottage Hills, Il., three daughters: Mary Lou Mollet of Wapella, Il., Jo Ann of Chillicothe, Il., and Donna of Marceline, Mo., 17 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, 2 sisters, Mrs. Juanita Lile and Mrs. Anna Grable both of Marceline, Mo., two brothers Clifford Blew, Linneus, Mo., and Dorrell Blew of Gentry, Ark.

He was preceded in death by parents, a daughter Wilma Jean McLaughlin, five brothers, Leroy, George, Lucien, and two in infancy, a grandson Randall Blew , a granddaughter Victoria Susanne Mollet, and one great granddaughter Andrea Renee McLaughlin.

Mr Blew was baptized in the Baptist Church at an early age. He was a retired employee of the Santa Fe Railway.

He was employed by Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1968. A resident of Missouri eight year, he was a member of the Baptist Church.

Born November 22, 1903, in Bucklin, Mo., he was a son of Thomas an Rachel Evelyn Darrell Blew. He married Eulah Belle Still November 26, 1927.

Sirviving are his wife; one son, Orville L. Blew of Cottage Hills; three daughters, Mary Lou Mollet of Wapella, Jo Ann of Chillicothe, and Donna E of Marceline; two brothers, Clifford Blew of Linneus, Mo., and Darrell Blew of Gentry, Ark., two sisters, Juanite Lyle and Anna Grable, both of Marceline; 16 grandchildren: and one great-granddaughter.
