Bert B. Brickle, 82, of 1215 Glen Gloria St., Orangeburg, died Friday, May 6, 2011, at his residence. A graveside service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg, with Father James Hager II officiating. He was born Sept. 21, 1928, in Orangeburg County, the son of the late Bertie Benjamin Brickle and the late Nita Porter Brickle. He was retired owner and operator of Brickle's Tile Company. Survivors include a son, Kurt Brickle; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his fiance, Frankie Smith of Orangeburg; special friends Larry Jett of Ladson and Buford and Edna Voyles of Orangeburg. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at the funeral home.
