Darrell V. Wilson,66,Monticello,died Monday Feb. 13,2012 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital.

He had worked at Anheuser Busch,A.E. Staley, & Tate & Lyle for approximately 39 years,retiring on Jan. 1,2008. He moved to Monticello from the Mulberry/Dayton area in 2003.

He was a member of the Farmland Conservation Club and First Missionary Baptist Church of Farmland.

Born Jan. 3,1946 in Russell Springs,KY,he attended Farmland Elementary School and graduated from Monroe Central,Parker City,IN,in 1964,he loved to hunt and fish. His parents were the late Zalo and Verda Mae (Wells) Wilson.

He marriage to Linda Sue Murphy was June 20,1965.

Survivors:his wife of 47 year,Linda;two daughters, Shannon Denise (husband Robert) Votaw of Wabash, IN. and Lisa Michelle (husband Tommy) Morrison of Francesville,IN;one son,David Lee (wife Melissa)Wilson of Remington,In;one sister,Anita Kay (husband Herbert Leroy Jr.)Denny;two brothers,Danny Jo (wife Gail) Wilson and Zalo Wilson Jr;two step-brothers,Lonnie (wife Sue)Pitman of Muncie,Jerry V. (wife Barbara)Pitman of Winchester;one step-sister,Lola Mae (husband Fred)Snyder of Springport,IN;seven grandchildren, Davyna, Kevin, Derek, Corey, Justin, Natasha, and Christian;three great-grandchildren,Kristina,Serena and Corbin Michael;& seven step-grandchildren, Johnathan, Vivian ,Angel, Hunter, Austin,Samantha and Kailyn.

Preceded in death by his parents;step-mother Glenna Mae (Staggs) Pitman Wilson;one granddaugher, Melissa Taylor.
