Celia V. (Orpik) Dudzik of Farmington died Saturday, (August 9, 2008) at John Dempsey Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen J. Dudzik.

Born in New Britain on August 18, 1924, daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Kierwiak) Orpik. Celia was a 40 year resident of Farmington. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and an active member of the Ladies Guild in New Britain. She was employed by the Fafnir Bearing Co. for over 40 years.

She is survived by her three nieces, Patricia and Bart Goodin and their children, Holly and Joey of Coventry, Marleen Grandia and her son, Peter Grandia III of West Hartford, Elizabeth and Bernie Belliveau, their son, Tommy and his wife, Meredith and their daughter, Jamison, her two nephews, David Orpik of Windsor and Robert Budnik and his wife, Michaele of Danbury.

She will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren who adored her, Robert Jr., and Renata Budnik of Danbury, John and Davi Budnik of Orlando FL., Jeffrey Budnik of Danbury, Aimee Budnik and Rodney Thomas of Munroe Falls, OH. Celia enjoyed visiting and playing with her seven great grandchildren, Mathew, Sophia, Luma, Ashli, Michelle Budnik, Miles and Kiley Thomas. Celia will be dearly missed by her good friend and neighbor, Joan Rydel of Farmington.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., from Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Church.
