Mathias Fischer married Margaretha Schaber on 20 Mar 1875 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan. They were the parents of two children, Louisa Pauline and Matt C. [Mathias Charles].
Mathias married Christina Walz on 16 Mar 1878. They were the parents of 9 children: John Daniel, Anna Mary, Joseph John, Emma Christine, Rosina Christine, Anna Christine, Christine Regina, William Frederick, Emma Marie.
