Nora was born on the Gerron farm in Marshall Co, AL. After she & Elijah married, they lived on the farm for a few years before moving to Boaz, AL, and then to McMinnville, TN. Nora was an only daughter of Pap & Ma Gerron, but she & Elijah had two children, Lois Mae & Irma Joyce, who gave them eight grandchildren who grew into adulthood. (Irma also had two who died while younger.) Nora was the stay-at-home wife & mother who helped raise the 10 children and Lige!
