John DeBoyd, 54, of Alapaha, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, at Berrien County Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 15, 1949, in Mercer County, W. Va., to the late Floyd and Ada Sampson DeBoyd. He was a farm laborer employed with Dixon Farms.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Hope DeBoyd of Alapaha; one daughter, Kasandra DeBoyd of Nashville; two sons, John DeBoyd, Alapaha, Bruce Wayne DeBoyd, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Sue Mosely, Middleburg, Fla., Dorothy Sparks, Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, James Edward DeBoyd, eight grandchildren;
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 15 in Liberty Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Dubose and John Dixon officiating. Visitation will held from 8 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday. -- Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
